The Farewell Bureau moves to Vaxjo konsthall on March 21 – 25, as part of Vaxjo municipality’s Earth week 2023.
For our one-week long stay, we will set up a designated space for reflection on the art of parting from things, offer farewell planning sessions and grief counseling, and arrange a public Farewell Ceremony.
Contemplarium
In the Art Gallery you can enter our Contemplarium, where you quietly can reflect on the farewell that you feel is necessary, and also write a Farewell letter. Open Tuesday-Friday at 12-18 and Saturday at 12-16, in Norra rummet at Vaxjo konsthall.

Farewell Ceremony
Wednesday 22 Mar at 18:00 we arrange a dignified final farewell to Overconsumption, in the art gallery. This public ceremony is followed by a memorial service, where we together in relaxed forms honor the memory of what we have just left behind, and freely talk about the art and opportunities of farewells in our time.
